Bernie knew he never had a chance the deal was her run, not destroy her, and get her the nom. Only problem is he got power hungry in the end, he lived the attention & money, so held on longer than he should have and made things more difficult than it needed to be.

I disagree with you. I don't think this was planned out from 2008, but after the last election it was obvious that Clinton was the democrat with the biggest name. She was the obvious choice - everyone knew her. (I never heard of Sanders until he ran for President.)

I think everyone knew in 2012 that Clinton would run in 2016, including the Republicans. Their entire intention with the email crap and the Benghazi thing was their attempt at removing her from the running. I also think the DNC knew Clinton was the obvious choice too, way back in 2012.
