Ex-CIA chief questions Trump?s loyalty to the US after asking Russia to help him win election

Donald Trump sparked outrage on Wednesday when he encouraged the Russian government to find and leak Hillary Clinton?s emails that were deleted from her private server while she served as Secretary of State.

Now former CIA chief Leon Panetta has told CNN?s Christiane Amanpour that Trump?s actions call his loyalty to the U.S. into question. What?s more, Amanpour says Panetta claims Trump?s statements raise questions over whether he?s conspiring with a foreign power.

?You have a presidential candidate who is, in fact, asking the Russians to engage in American politics,? Panetta said. ?I think that?s beyond the pale? he is truly not qualified to be president of the United States.?

Trump being Trump
However this is amature for a PC to say the least

In an interview with Florida news station CBS4 Miami, Trump denied he had any business dealings with Russia and even went so far as to say that he?d never met Putin.

?I have nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do, I never met Putin, I have nothing to do with Russia whatsoever,? he told the station.

This is interesting because during a debate last year, Trump explicitly said that he?d met Putin while the two of them were set to appear on 60 Minutes.

?I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates,? said Trump at the time.

Additionally, The Hill notes that Donald Trump Jr. told a 2008 real estate conference that ?Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.?

"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,"

He's saying that Russia doesn't have the emails and they need to find them. It's clear that he's telling the Russians to obtain something they don't have, and the only way to do that would be espionage against a former first lady and Secretary of State. :2 cents:

He's lying himself into a corner, again.

I don't see Russian people as the enemy, like fellow programmers , artists, civilians, etc. but I do see the Russian government as an enemy under Putin with their endless hacking, etc.

Fuck all that, strech your face and relax. The infiltration is as complete as the hacking is for show or the corruption is total. We are all fucked in the end. Sides don't matter in a rigged game. You will see. We will descend into every man for himself. watch for that because it will have been your fault.

I am former US military (USMC, as you all know) and frankly.... I always considered Russians to be the enemy. I was infantry and then a small arms combat instructor; We studied Russian weapons, tactics, tanks, etc. Russians being the enemy was rammed down our throats.

Then I worked for Dating Factory for five years.

Dating Factory had an office in Ukraine, in Donetsk. A lot of the staff is Ukrainian, including the CEO Tanya. It was an eye opening experience for me. I discovered that Russians and Ukrainians are no different than anyone else. We have the same interests, hobbies, wants and needs.

The Russian government still considers the US and Europe as enemies. and to a large extent we treat them the same. But you have to look at why. Russia wanted a buffer between Europe and Russia, and for a long time it did. Slowly that buffer has disappeared...

I really think what we need to do is take the senior staffs of both countries and have them move to the other country for a year.... So our leaders can learn Russians are no different than anyone else.

kinda hard to do since fbi has the servers and they are offline lol on a side note fbi warned the dnc months before the dnc acted.

One a side note kinda funny "?You have a presidential candidate who is, in fact, asking the Russians to engage in American politics" pot meet kettle lol

crockett 07-27-2016 03:21 PM

Kinda funny to watch all the Trumplets ignore these topics like the plague and if they do show up, it's only to distract..

Thank you DNC for stacking the cards against Bernie or we would of never known about this :winkwink:

Bought & sold by Russia. After today's comments Trump has to be investigated now and the FBI should extend its DNC hack investigation into Trump and his Russian ties to see to what extent he's behind it.

I am surprised anyone is surprised by this.

The DNC wants to win the next election. The DNC - and everyone else in the Democratic party and the rest of the country - Thought Clinton was the obvious choice. This goes back to 2012. She had the following. The DNC started pushing her back then - and perhaps others too. Sanders most likely wasn't even on the map.

Let's flip this around. I am positive the GOP had a list of potential candidates they thought would be viable candidates. I'm sure it was a short list too. Most likely it was Cruz, Christie, Bush, and John Kasich. They helped those people, or maybe just one or two of them. They allow other candidates to join the field so the GOP can track interest.

At the end of the day the GOP (on the other side the DNC) picks who they want to support the most. At the end of the day the DNC thought Clinton was the best candidate to beat Trump (although you could argue Sanders was the better choice and most likely still is). At the same time, Clinton has been working with the DNC for nearly ten years so... they supported her because they were most comfortable with her.

Not sure why anyone has an issue with this. The DNC picks and supports who they think is best. I haven't read the emails, but I am guessing there are also emails about supporting Sanders too.

And they don't realize trump was just being sarcastic... shallow humor. Common sense is very not with democrats, libs, or any of the anti trump media which is almost all media.

:2 cents: I was shocked, for a second to learn Israel and the Saudi were arms dealing buds. Figures. America pals up with only the best.

America loves to hack its enemies. And its friends even more.

Liars have a problem remembering the lies they spin. How he "got to know Putin" is a mystery to me. Even if he met him I doubt if Putin reveals much.

Oh no, everyone gets that he was being sarcastic.

What the Republicans cannot understand is that a presidential candidate cannot "joke" about encouraging a foreign power to hack his political opponents....

Dude you are way off. He was not joking, and he was not being sarcastic. It wasn't until 24 hour laters, after what must have been a serious kick in the balls by his advisors, that tried to cover it up. What an unbelievable stupid thing it was that he said.

Donald Trump is seriously unqualified to be President. He does not have the temperament, experience or knowledge to be president. He treats everyone around him like shit. He sexualizes his daughter for fuck sakes! How much more fucked up does someone have to be to be to be disavowed by the GOP?
