Help a brother out

Haven't been on here forever, but recuperating from a motorbike accident and I've got time on my hands.

1. There was a great thread a while back on little known films. I've seen most - any recommendations or a good series to binge on?

2. Could someone come up with a scorecard showing which new nicks correspond to banned nicks. It's really confusing.

Thanks and hope everyone is doing well!

2... well lots say mines another, personally it wouldn't change a damn thing coz my partner & I have always been online at the same time, so we'd chat from both anyway. Shared pc, shared lives. I don't personally worry about the banned peeps, I wonder why some have more than 3 or 4 live accounts at the same time :helpme :warning

Malaysia's good, headed back to NY next year. Three years is enough. All it takes is one asshole - made a U-turn from the opposite lane right in front on me. Hit him at about 40mph. Fractured kneecap, fibula, foot, toes. Could have been a lot worse.

I'll check out Stranger Things. That list you started was superb. Found quite a few gems there!

CaptainHowdy 08-06-2016 07:16 AM

Welcome back and get well soon.

Is "The Great Escape" on Netflix? Steve McQueen's bike steals the movie.

Malaysia's beautiful, nice to see some pics if you have some!

Damn, you were very lucky, although, the knee cap could give you problems in later life, you want to keep his details for insurance :2 cents:

What bike do you ride & how is your bike, did you get a new one or was yours fixed?

Already have a lawyer on the case. I'll get re-examined in 6 months, then file suit to include any potential future disabilities. Fuck the money, I just want to be able to walk right.

I ride the most popular bike in Malaysia, the Honda EX5 Dream. Not flashy, but a great way to get around town. My mechanic is replacing the forks and straightening the frame . If it doesn't feel right I'll get a new one.

Been a while since your last post here. I wanted to contact you regarding one Malaysia related thing but it resolved itself in the meantime. What you will do when you return back to NYC ?

Good on you for the insurance, after serious injuries you can have lots of future problems & god bless you don't! The money is important, but understanding what you mean, work brings in the money, not insurance jobs, alas, if you're entitled, take the claim my friend & get as much as you can! If the wanker did a U turn without looking & had you off your bike, you shall be rewarded & hopefully in large amount!

Nice bike, I fancy a moto like this! Looks fun! Hope all goes well for you! x

If you ever need to contact me, feel free to write at [email protected]

After getting back into the pizza game here, I decided to open another place in NYC. Looking g at fall of 2017

This is a prototype coal-fired oven I designed and had built in my backyard in KL. Been working on recipes and dough formulations getting ready for the big return.

That series was incredible! The first season with Billy Bob Thorton goes me away. And the second season was really good too!

It is amazing.

I was reading something the other day about pizza places leaving NYC in droves because the rent is just getting out of control. You have to sell a lot of damn slices just to pay for the building, and a lot of places are moving to New Jersey. Do you have a space picked out yet?

I'm looking at lower Manhattan. 1,000sf between 10k and 15k a month. My place will be a higher end place rather than a traditional slice joint.

I wish you luck man, let me know when it's open and I'll stop in. Was just there a few weeks ago and stopped by one of my favorite places, Artichoke Basille's... Artichoke Basille's Pizza - Home

Love Artichoke Basile's! Great slice, great operation, lean and mean. They pay their pie men $2k a week and those guys pump out serious volume.

Interestingly, the original Artichoke was on Forest Avenue in Staten Island, but real tough to park (everyone in Staten Island drives). They closed down and opened on 14th Street, now multiple locations doing great biz.

Location, location, location.

Gonna take about a year, but I'll send you an invite.

Tv

Until yesterday I watched some series on cable (USA, A&E, TNT, PBS). But started to get the series at the library on DVD.
But I just got a Netflix & Hulu subscriptions. There's way too much to watch, Including Dangerman, Secret Agent & The Prisoner. Hopefully they have Commander Cody.

Leverage, White Collar & Burn Notice were good and had happy endings.

The Glades was a low key cop but had a bad ending.

Last night I binged on Longmire. I really hated the ending. Maybe they planned on a 5th season and some how everything would workout.

I saw Wiseguy was available. Old cop show. Only saw a few episodes, but it was good

One I'm looking for is "Run For Your Life." (1960's) Doctors give a guy 18 months to live, so he goes traveling.

I've seen enough Magnum P I, but never saw the episode where you finally find out who really is Robin Masters. Friend told me, but thought it would be fun to see.

The second time they made them weren't as much fun as the first series. The Millionaire & Burke's Law.

Perry Mason always got the murder to confess.

Those are for the most black & white, but fun
