Petco Park Stadium in SD
 

Has anyone been to Petco Park Stadium? I'm headed to Arizona for Week 1 and I'm thinking of taking a trip over to Petco to see the Sox v Padres earlier in the week. Is it worth the additional trip you think or is my money better spent in one of the watering holes in Phoenix/Scottsdale?

Traffic is a bitch getting in & out for the game, make sure you have a place to stay in the Gaslamp district or stay late & drink after the game for a couple hours.

Thank you Bladewire. Good call. I stayed in Gaslamp last time. Just never hit a game. I'm thinking of completely bypassing SD and just staying a couple days extra in AZ to golf and hit Diamond Backs too instead of flying to SD. Just trying to get an idea of what people would suggest. I'm already committed to AZ for football but trying to decide if it's worth the extra effort to hit SD while out there. Either that or just party a couple days in AZ. Decisions, decisions....lol

I have many times when I lived in San Diego. Yes it is a zoo getting out. The trolley is nearby.
