RIP Tesla fatal crash driver exceeding the speed limit
Is the car able to speed when using the operating system?
I read, Joshua Brown 40, a former naval seal turned technology entrepreneur was speeding at 74mph when he died in a fatal crash in his Tesla. He was using the self drive system at the time of the incident! Drivers are always instructed to keep their hands on the steering wheel & be aware of the road, now, seeing the "autosteer lane keeping assistance" & "auto pilot system". Both includes a mass of devices of cameras, radar & sensors to prevent collisions. Was this Tesla fault or the driver for relying on the systems? I read this in our local paper, maybe someone can find more information online as this is quite a disaster for such a vehicle :( |
Shame :2 cents:

Self drive isn't an excuse to be stupid.

what idiot would let new tech like that self-drive at 75mph?!

I've been working on new footage a month or so ago, filming daily outdoors in several locations, so wasn't on here. May have been that :thumbsup |
