GFY smart guys - frustrate this script

This is a sort of new thing, not sure what it is meant to accomplish other than drive surfers to tubes.

Chrome: It creates new tabs on close, so that even if the user clicks the "don't allow this ... to create further messages" a new tab with a fresh message box is still created, even with the pop-up blocker on.

Warning do not click if you have work you're doing - you may need to close the Chrome process

Loading <--Warning do not click if you have work you're doing - you may need to close the Chrome process

Warning do not click if you have work you're doing - you may need to close the Chrome process

is there a way to defeat this without having to end the process?

site simply has a redirect in it the meta refresh, and the code has a hidden input, that has code that will automatically submit the form, even if a click isnt done on the site.

Can it be defeated without special software?

OK maybe i am clueless but why do you want to abuse your customers in this manner...(general question not directed at the op) any site that does that to me would never get a return visit.

Exactly - I would never use that, I am asking how to defeat it. All this crap does is drive surfers to big, safe and established sites. If I was a conspiracy theorist, like wehateporn, I would say the big tubes put sites like that out there themselves to scare surfers into staying with them only.

ilnjscb 08-29-2016 08:26 AM

A honeypot is traditionally a trap. A pot of honey that you put out and attract something with.

In computers it is a trap set to catch those that would snoop around your computer, hackers, spiders, etc. A fake area that contains data that appears to be legit.
