I've lived in France and I'll be the first person to say that the reason they're getting their asses kicked is because of the unique brand of racism they practice. If the United States racists are "hot" with examples being of the kkk, lynchings, etc then francophone racism is brutally cold and polite.

Francophone cultures use bureaucracy, unfair laws that favor only someone "de souche" and promote, if possible, only francophones to positions of authority in both government and businesses. They make it hard for a non-francophones to become francophones and even take steps to negate the power of financial wealth to buy business or government influence.

It's a sad fact to say but in France even money can't necessarily buy someone of Algerian decent "Liberté, égalité, et fraternité."

When someone with more than enough money to buy their way out of a ghetto and the system politely refuses their money (with a ton of excuses and justifications...) Then sooner or later they're going to become so angry that they become candidates for radical extremist groups.

This would be a good look for Gary/Natalie.

I've not lived in France but spent much time there, Paris, north Paris is now very much black orientated, I cannot see how racism even comes across in France :2 cents:

Saint Dennis (Northern Paris) is a ghetto.

Try renting an apartement, opening a bank account, applying for a job, etc in France and you'll see for yourself how racist it can be. I'm Québécois and the French call us their "cousins" and I was treated with that polite go-away smile more than I was treated with fairness. I imagine how hell it must be for Blacks, Arabs and the Roms en France.

Being a tourist is very different from actually living there.

Just try to open a bank account with a lousy 200euro cash and watch how quickly they'll give you the "polite" requests for paperwork on how you got the money. It's always that polite smile and gentle manners that they use to say "go fuck yourself."

You'll also notice that the vast majority of people dressed in green washing the streets and picking up the garbage are all Arabs and Africans.

Anything over a few hundred and the bank has forms & we even have phone calls or emails from the bank asking where the money came from.
