The season opener (game 1) begins on THURSDAY Sept. 8th with the Broncos hosting the Carolina Panthers. However, players have right up until the kickoff of the first game on the SUNDAY of each week to make their picks (Eastern Standard Time).
IF YOU MISS PICKING EARLY GAMES (Thursday, Saturday etc) you simply forfiet the points for those games but you can still get your picks in for the remaining games before the usual Sunday deadline. No picks will be entered after the Sunday deadlines.

Opening day kickoff. Only hours to go,

and now we get to find out if the gaytriots will start 0-4 without their poster boy Brady. How will Denver's rookie QB do filling Manning's shoes? And meanwhile in Dallas... Romo wasn't in their first preseason game 5 mins and he's gone for most if not all of the season. I'd laugh but it's just so pitifully sad.

SEAHAWKS: Russel Wilson has an ankle injury. He'll play Sunday but likely won't be the mobile guy that team relies heavily on. Will it make a difference against the newly-relocated/rebuilt Rams, a team that looked fairly beatable in week 1?

Last night's game was surprisingly good considering it was two teams that have been largely forgettable in seasons past. Jets pull off the win, Bills are 0-2 and one step closer to Rex Ryan getting sacked.
