I have zero sympathy for addicts because it's no one's fault but their own.

You can cry all you want, but there are shit loads of decent people who die everyday due to things out of their control, like cancer or other sicknesses.

Addicts, bring it on themselves and often destroy their once health bodies.. fuck them.

Although, doing some research, it seems nearly 50/50 white and black orientation, business with sky scrapers, a river, a modern society, I'm not understanding any difference between this city NY or any other US city.

Why the high rate of smack?

This is a good example of why drug addiction needs to be treated as a public health issue and not a criminal issue.
