Clinton: US should use 'military response' to fight cyberattacks from Russia and China

"As President, I will make it clear that the United States will treat cyberattacks just like any other attack. We will be ready with serious political, economic, and military responses," she told the attendees, largely made up of veterans and their supporters.

"We are going to invest in protecting our governmental networks and our national infrastructure," she continued. "I want us to lead the world in setting the rules in cyberspace. If America doesn't, others will."

I think we should stuff hillary in a rocket and fire that rocket at Russia and film it.

Sarn 09-02-2016 04:27 AM

miss world war3

- dad why start world war 3?
- because mail server will be hacked

just a punk 09-02-2016 04:28 AM

Her rockets do not fly (that's why Americans use the Russian space technologies), her army if overpaid and completely useless (no balls to fuck even with the barbarian North Korean armed forces). Now she has found out that her hackers can not defeat Russian and Chinese ones. She's so pathetic...

nico-t 09-02-2016 04:41 AM

mind blowing that so many libbies support this warlord. Completely the opposite of what their beliefs are.

A stupid bitch doesn't realize that her "military response" will end up like this for the whole planet Earth:

I know he has a brain damage and she's ready to die, but does she understand that her children and grandchildren will be burned alive?

Both countries have some good movies about our nearest future:

1.) Better computer security.
2.) NSA should return the same type of cyberattack.

Cyber war is cyber war ...

That should be national policy.

it is not are cyber war.
if she use gmail for send secret informations - this negligence.
if she like warlord ignore secure alert from benghazi and others embassies - this negligence.
and after she not take responsibility - blame all around.

beerptrol 09-02-2016 05:38 AM

There's as much chance of her using military force on cyberattackers as there is of Mexico paying for the wall. Keep sucking that Trump cock
like most matters of national security it's an option that is on the table. If she would have left it out you'd be bitching on how weak she is

pimpmaster9000 09-02-2016 06:07 AM

meanwhile the US government will spy on everybody, including its allies, and bitch about others doing the same :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Barry-xlovecam 09-02-2016 06:08 AM

I see no problem with the US government hacking into foreign government or civillian computer systems * military or civilian * when that government or a private organization in that nation is sourced as the initiator of breaches of US computer systems. Inflicting maximum real damage should be the objective.

The USA is more than capable of launching cyber warfare. Shutting down an cybertacker's electric grid and sewer and water system is not out of bounds. You play fucky-fuck to win.

Of course, the USA cannot do this now because the computer systems in the USA are not very secure -- this will have to change regardless of who sits as president. So, take that partisan politic shit and shove it back up your ass.

Question for movie buffs:

While this movie is full of melodrama and contains some cheesy vfx, the nuclear war scene is still scary as fuck to me. I've seen movies featuring other nukes and destruction of cities but the scene in The Day After always stands out. Any idea how and why? The VFX are bad (even by 1980's standards), so why does it work? Editing? Sound perhaps? Chills...

I don't know either. I've seen this movie on TV in early 80's when I was a kid. I don't remember the plot, but I still remember some scenes that have impressed me, such as the EMI effect and the ending scenes of the movie, which were so non-Hollywood ones. They were very typical for Russian cinematography.

Ты путаешь теплое с квадратным. Одно дело политзаключенные, другое - обычный уголовник.

Hillary is a 1980s Republican Neocon.. I've said that a long time. Obama was to the right of Reagan on many issues and Hillary is even further to the right.

It's one of the reasons I don't like her.. even still she is a better option than the idiot Trump.

In the USA even an imbecile can rule the country:

I think you do not understand what we are talking about.

We aren't talking about landing a few thousand Marines inside of Russia to remove their ability to hack or using cruise missiles to destroy their infrastructure so that another country is unable to hack. Instead, I believe we are talking about creating a cyberwarfare division where hacking attempts are identified and countered.

This makes sense, although I question if the military should be used for this. This should be more of a Homeland Security thing.

i assume you are talking about the whitehouse hack...which is not a sensitive website...nor did it hold any secrets.....of course you make a valid comparison

We already do.. just our guys rarely get caught and when they do get caught states like China and Russia are too embarrassed to tell the public because they have to put up a big front of toughness.

Hiding weapon systems within civilian zones is against the Geneva convention and puts your citizens in harms way.. However we are of course talking about a country who's military shot down a passenger jet 2 years ago..
