Life!

This is for all you happy people who have no idea what it's like to be broke as fuck..

Two kids, diapers, wipes, food, snacks. School meals, uniforms, parties, presents, birthday's, Christmas..

Our household income is less than you would spend on the cinema on a Saturday night yet we carry on, we continue. We believe, we risk it all, we fight the system.

Wrong! kids will kill your hope, they will rape your present.. They will steal your future but honestly if you carry on life without kids at some point you will wonder your past..

escorpio 09-09-2016 04:14 PM

Sell the kids. I got serious cash for mine.

Children are the ultimate parasites. The take all of your energy and money but just leave you enough to live.... to continue to serve them :)

Most successful people here probably started broke as fuck. The other 99% still are.

Just work harder. Simple really. Good luck.

There was a time in life when I was homeless.... never doing that again.

MFCT 09-10-2016 11:24 PM

I've been completely destitute, and it lasted for quite a long time. If that's where you are in life, it should be the best motivation there can possibly be to better yourself. That's the way it worked for me. And now, after much hard work and invested time, money and the price of anything I want is not even an issue in my life anymore.

Being bitter about how much better other people's lives may be is wasted energy. If anything, see it as where you'll be once you've succeeded in life. Redirect your energy into bettering yourself, focus on it, and let it be the absolute prime goal in your life. Wake up thinking about it, go to bed thinking about it, and devote any spare time in your day thinking about it.

Congrats on getting out of that. There are a couple of other people on here who have managed that as well. Each rung down on the ladder makes it more difficult to climb out. What was your first step out? How did you find the strength to do what was necessary?

But who will take up the mantle of being the best damn critic the USA has ever had? You can't let everything you've built fall into the wrong hands. Will your successor take care to notice and magnify every single flaw? Will they endlessly post about every perceived slight? Will they sedulously fail to ever mention anything the USA has done well? I worry that the reputation for unceasing and energetic criticism that you have carefully built here on the internet might not flourish in the hands of any less devoted deprecator.

Most working people with kids are "poor as hell" for one reason, and one reason only.

They spend too much on food.

They do not know how to cook, prepare meals, make their own snacks and because they buy fast food and processed foods, not only are they broke, but their health is deteriorating as well.

Fast food and processed foods are well over 50% to 70% higher than raw basics.

Learn how to buy more bulk items and make meals from scratch. You will start to save hundreds every month and thousands every year. Your kids will love learning how to cook, it brings families together and your health will increase. You will notice a new energy in your entire family and a boost in your budget.

Think about it.

Oh, and please don't come back with "I'm too busy, I work and raise kids" nonsense. The average working adult watches 2 to 4 hours of tv every single day. And spends even more hours starring at their phones. Kids spend up to 6 hours a day watching a screen. So get off the screens and learn how to feed yourself and your family, otherwise, enjoy living paycheck to paycheck with sinking health, obese kids and depression.

Its not a remedy for poverty but there are sooo many ways to save money:)

drink water from the tap dont drink anything else cause its all bloody sugar anyway.

Use candles when chilling in the living room its much better for your sleep right after anyway.

Take the damn train/bus or if you need the car drive sensibly and save on gas.

Short showers and tap off while brushing teeth.. check all the damn leakings in the house and fix them :)

Get up early and work on your damn websites and make some money in affiliate marketing pushing cam offers. It works everytime if you don't give up ;)

As long as the water is not fluoridated in your area

Many candles give out toxic fumes due to the paraffin wax, go for beeswax

Where the OP lives the train/bus are unnecessarily costly due to privatization
