Larger style phones: more productive, less productive, same?
Right now I have a 5S and 6S. Debating trading in the 5S for a 7 Plus. I have always thought the larger phones were way too big, but I'm curious if there is any productivity boost?

Sounds natural that it is a productivity boost with every extra mm, but you lose in "mobility" so to speak. So pros and cons.

more productive IMO

I like the larger screens. Its easier on the eyes and fingers. It sucks when you have to put the thing in your pocket though lol

I have a Nokia 3310. It's small and it makes me pretty damn productive.
I can make and receive calls, text and calculate basic stuff. The fact it's not loaded with FB, Twit, Email, Internet, Camera is a big plus. |

The 7s has a higher resolution display vs the 7, and also has a 3rd camera. Everything else looks pretty much the same : iPhone 7 - Technical Specifications - Apple (CA)
Personally, I have big hands and long fingers so the 7s might be more comfortable for me. Fitting in my pockets is a requirement too of course. |

@op, the plus has much more available than the 7, faster & better :2 cents: |
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, or is it 6? Whatever, the screen is BIG. So I can really rock Angry Birds.
Who does actual work on a cell phone besides answering emails, checking this or that, etc? |
I have a Nexus 6P, and I'm ready for a bigger phone. I didn't think it would happen, but once you get used to a bigger phone it starts to feel small.

Last time I upgraded from the 5S I couldn't decide on 6 or 6 plus but decided to stay small with the 6. This time said fuck it so the 6 is being upgraded to 7 Plus Jet Black 256 GB as screen/camera better. Sure I'll like a bigger device and if it annoys me to travel with extra size can always return it within a couple weeks for a minimal restock fee and go to the 7. So I'm giving the Plus size a shot. Worst case I eat a restock fee and end up with two 7 Plus cases I already ordered to give away. Think the only reason to stay smaller is if you non-stop text message while driving. :2 cents:

I only use my phone for email, Facebook, news, and a handful of other things. I am not very "productive" on my phone.

I just ordered the 7 Plus. |
I am used to work on a computer with a 27" screen. On my phone I can just read e-mails but the keyboard is too small to reply comfortably. A tablet is too big to put in a pocket so I am waiting for a phone with a foldable screen like the futur Samsung (?)

Productive? for real you are counting on your phone to be productive?? You are a slacker that thinks they can do their job remotely if they have a big enough phone screen. :2 cents:

So yes the bigger the phone screen the better. I also like to carry around a laptop when possible with a hotspot on my phone in case I have something that needs to be taken care of. |
If you do your work on your phone then you need a good phone, other wise get a laptop..
