Paxum or Payoneer

I need to sign up for one of these options for payments from sponsors, but I'm not sure which would be the best option?

Based on your experiences, which do you prefer? Paxum or Payoneer.

Thanks :thumbsup

Paxum account does not cost anything to open and no yearly fee to maintain. You do not pay anything to receive payments into your account and you can withdraw into your bank account (in most countries). No need to get the card, but if you want it, it costs $45 per year. ATM withdrawals with card costs $2 per each.

Payoneer is free to open but charges a $2 maintenance fee per month, if you have money in your account. A totally empty account does not pay any fee. But in that fee, the Mastercard is included, so no extra, separate, fee for the card. Also here you can withdraw from Payoneer directly into your bank account (in most countries) and an ATM withdrawal costs $2.75

Get both, but I prefer payoneer.

:2 cents:

Most of my payments are done by Paxum, but I use both.

payoneer all the way

Adraco 09-13-2016 03:45 AM

I forgot to add,
with Payoneer, you also pay a fee per payment received and that fee is usually either $2 to have the payment loaded to your account in 2 business days or $5 to have it loaded to your account in 2 hours.

So besides the monthly maintenance fee, you are also charged per payment that you receive.

Given this, if you plan on receiving many small payments, like the standard $100 minimums, then I would recommend you to most definitely take Paxum, since Payoneer charge per incoming payment.

But if you have say one single payment each month, from a cam sponsor for example, and that payment is of a few thousand dollars, then it does not matter the same way. The fee percentage will be very low either way.

I prefer Payoneer because you can send ACH transactions from CCBill, Zombaio to Payoneer..

I just pay a 2% fee when it goes into my account & then into my bank. No other fees on the account without a card.

Maybe best for OP to get a Paxum card & a payoneer account :2 cents:

Paxum all the way.

Do a search for problems with Paxum and problems with Payoneer right here on GFY. One seems to have problems damn near weekly,m not to mention the ongoing changing of banking information to get wires settled.

No one can tell you what will work best for you, but do some searches here on GFY and just compare the problems.

For me, Payoneer is the better company to deal with.

LetterTwenty7 09-13-2016 05:53 AM

I used to love Paxum but then I had a couple of situations plus other people told me that it is crap, but I am still using it. If you are going to use it for receiving payments, then I think it doesn't matter which one you use.

NadXP 09-13-2016 07:41 AM

Our company use Payment Methods Payoneer, PayPal, Bank TransfeR, Paxum. I think that you should choose 2 methods for receiving payments.

yuu.design 09-13-2016 09:07 AM

both of them are good ones

HowlingWulf 09-13-2016 09:29 AM

Sign up for both and go with the one that irritates you the least.

LatinaCamChat 09-13-2016 09:47 AM

Basically a must to have both unless you're doing very little volume. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Payoneer's US payment service can be very useful, however sending money from one user to another can be restrictive. Paxum doesn't have this restriction and can accept international bank wires, don't think this is available with payoneer. Payoneer's Mastercard system is a bit more reliable than paxums and also has no monthly limit, just daily. Paxum has both daily and monthly limits.

paxum is a pain in the ass. the customer service is a freeking joke. I have had small money tied up in a paxum account for 5+ years and tried several times to get it out with no luck. Brain dead customer service TBO. Payoneer is much better if you have a snag.

Tagir 09-14-2016 11:35 PM

Paxum!!!
