Fuck America!!
Mr.Robot Season 2, Episode 4 and suddenly every F word is dubbed out.
Seriously, what the fuck man. You can portray the biggest hack ever, murder, nudity, sex etc but you can't say fuck. Wow. |
but it's still a great F%#@ing show!:thumbsup:321GFY

Try watching it again tonight. Lots of shows have FUCK and other words removed for daytime showings.

I know censorship sucks...but anyway, some of the heavier TV dramas are using the F word because they know it'll be watched uncensored later on Netflix and DVD. Breaking Bad started this trend. One thing I like about the usage on regular TV (even if it is bleeped) is that it's not leaned on as a crutch like Showtime or HBO does. A good solid "fuck" in the right spot during some dialogue can have a huge impact as long as all of the characters aren't constantly saying "fuckity fuck fuck" every other word.
Judd Apatow is the biggest abuser of it. Whether it's a movie or TV show Every character has the same speaking voice...that is they just say fuck constantly. And there's no law that says regular cable TV needs to censor harsh language...they only do it to appease advertisers. |
