YouTube and links to Porn

Does anyone know if YouTube/Google allows linking from YouTube videos to adult sites?

I can't find and answer to this and don't want to risk it with Google.

For example, we have created YouTube channel for Coupons.xxx that promotes different sites that we are offering for discounted price on our site. Videos are SFW, but our site is just the opposite. Altho we have 18+ disclaimer splash when you first visit our site, do you think that YouTube will allow such links?

YouTube allows nudity when it's "educational". Other than that, it's likely to be removed. Read this post on the google forum: https://productforums.google.com/for...be/NrfFzC5eJlo

Thank you Jerkules, but my question was about links. I have read everything about content. Links are something that is not defined.

You might be able to keep them up for some time, however if Youtube sweeper bots find your site they might remove it. Or, the more likely scenario: a user reports you to Youtube they remove the links after some time and give you a warning followed by a ban possibly.
But if you're not too big or popular of a channel on Youtube you'll probably fly under the radar.

Good luck to you!

I've been also thinking about this, promoting stuffs in youtube to your adult site like uploading the kissing scene and cut it down before the bed scene... then black > "visit to blablabla for more info" or like "visit blablabla to continue watching" adjusting the video duration to look like more legit?

You can usually get away with it for a while, I have seen links that land to a safe page, and they if you start clicking you land on the hardcore stuff, but keep in mind that kids visit the site so watch what words you place in the title. The video you listed above should be fine.

Just watermark your videos instead of the link if its not allowed.

Special "mainstream" prelanding page sounds like a great way to do it. Something like a SFW porn blog that would be safe for kids. Once you want to see more, there will be disclaimer asking you if you are 18+. Will talk to my team about doing this! Tnx ;)
