A big step backward for the GOP?s African-American outreach
Sigh....

99.9% of Trump supporters endorse this message. They will say it's true because they know a black guy that makes good money..
What the guy should of said, is there is opportunity for all people in this country, but you have to reach out and take it. It might be harder for one person or another to achieve their goals, but regardless if you try hard enough you can do good. Not everyone regardless of the color of their skin has it easy. Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouth others are not. Race is only part of the struggle in becoming successfull. If you ever think you have it hard or things don't come easy enough, then go talk to someone with no legs or a paralyzed person and complain life isn't fair for you.. |
And then there's this gem from Donald Trump?s director of African-American outreach....
Every Critic, Every Detractor, Will Have To Bow Down To President Trump - It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe. |
That's pretty bad but I don't think we can blanket-blame the entire GOP for Kathy Miller's comments. Some of them... maybe.

the real news is how the liberal left takes 1 episode of ignorance & paints the entire movement with it.
...like dumb liberals have already done in this thread. :1orglaugh so when a black woman says to CNN that it doesnt matter that a black cop killed the black man holding a book...thats equally ignorant, but GFY liberals dont care about liberal ignorance. :1orglaugh |

You just took one episode of ********** and painted all liberals with it. Same thing. You make it extremely hard to take you seriously. |

in any case, partisans tend to use the same tactics. GFY liberals troll trump backers, & vice versa. its all good, im smart enough to know better. are you? :) |
While I am no Trump fan, (or hillary) there is a lot of validity to the theory that the Democrats in particular (with help from republicans) have done all they can to keep black people on the plantation, The system inherently rewards (but only just enough) codependence on government and punishes independence and self reliance.
My problem is that both parties are guilty of it and both parties benefit from perpetuating racial inequality and the aforementioned government codependence. Untill Black and whote and brown and yellow and red and whatever stand up and say no this is not what we want then this problem will continue to manifest itself in racial division, gender division, and others, by pitting us against each other the dems and the reps keep us at each others throats when the truth is we should be at THEIR throats. just my $0.02 |
