Who do you think will win tonights Debate?

Emperor is going to win. Although GFY libsters were more than sure of Hitlary crushing Trump in debates.
Lets see :)

I am going to go with Clinton. She has so much more experience in debating, politics, and government.

Tonight will be amusing. Trump will be trying to stay on script and Clinton will be trying to push his buttons to send Trump off message. Clinton will be trying wow us with facts and knowledge. At the same time, Clinton sometimes comes off as being "cold" and if she gets angry it will look bad for her.

If I was in the Clinton camp.... I would be going with "You need to release your taxes" and then follow up with "What are you hiding".

Either way it will be amusing. I can't wait.

Clinton starts coughing attack at 51 minutes... 72 minutes her eyes roll back and her smile freezes.

I'm banking on Hillary collapsing as well. No way she can handle 90 minutes with no break.

You've got it completely backwards. I predict Clinton is the one who will desperately cling on her script, you can bet your ass she is nervous as hell. Trump is way better in improvising and i bet he is way more relaxed than her (if they haven't drugged Clinton with horse tranquilizers).

If Trump just stands there for 90 minutes and doesn't say a word the media will declare him a winner. The media loves a horse race, forces the candidates to spend millions more in ads.

Imagine Donald Trump getting 2 full minutes to ramble his platitudes and non-facts -- several times over 90 minutes with no commercial breaks. You're going to hear some fucking nonsense for the ages.

This is where a strong moderator comes in. Hopefully he does his jobs and keeps Trump & Clinton on-topic.

He's done it his whole life, not going to be much different. All of his rambling and platitudes are already out there, what is tonight really going to add to that?

If Hill can't show strong health for 90 minutes, she's done.

I don't think Clinton is nervous at all. Short of Clinton going into a sneezing fit and her eyes rolling into the back of her head as mentioned above, she has little reason to worry unless she says something really bad.

I believe you're way off here. It's do or die for her. For Trump, not so much. Add to that that verbally and off the cuff Trump is stronger, realer. Once he catches Hillary off guard she's done :2 cents:

This is do or die for Trump. If he doesn't do well tonight, he will look like an ass. If Clinton only holds her own, she'll do fine.

Either way it will be highly entertaining.

Trump will say a bunch of talking point phrases with zero substance his cult will go rahh rahh while anyone with a brain wonders how he got this far...

Hillary will talk with at least some common sense but will seem stale and be seen as just another politician and those who are not of the Trump cult will wonder how they got stuck with her while the Trump cult claims it wasn't Hillary but a body double.

Both sides will claim victory and no one will be able to tell them different..

There are two different levels of expectation here. Hillary will be expected to be presidential and to be on message and present her ideas and vision for the future. People will expect her to be good because she has a lot of experience and has basically been working towards this moment for 20 years.

All people expect of Trump is that he act like an adult. So long as he doesn't spend all of his time calling Hillary names and he comes off as being at least reasonably prepared people will give him a lot of credit and he will benefit from this.

Basically, it is Hillary's to lose. If I were her I would make my points, stay away from name calling and let Trump talk as much as possible. He has proven when he doesn't have a teleprompter he can't go three sentences without insulting someone. If I were Hillary I would be nervous. She doesn't have a whole lot to gain her, but a lot to lose and Trump is just the opposite. He has little to lose and a lot to gain.

All that said, I will be watching the Mariners play the Astros instead of this shit show. If something crazy happens during it the story will be all over the news (and GFY) so I can catch it later.

Her momentum was going downhill these days/weeks. Even libsters like Mark Prince started to really worry about her chances. This is the chance for her to come back or not.

It is a must for Hilary and she is nervous, I can bet on that.

I was thinking the 2 minutes he has to speak is going to be tough for him. It's not the urge to insult and entertain he needs to overcome, but just not knowing anything will make him look like an idiot who has no business applying for the job. Anyone can control their impulse to insult and be a bully (maybe even Trump), but you can't go from knowing jack shit to someone who actually knows shit.

You will be unpleasantly surprised.
