Where is the outrage?

Two non white cops murder innocent white 6 yr old child and his father! Guess what no white people rioted or protested over these killings! The fact is more innocent white people are murdered by cops than any other race!

Video here
Body cam video released in shooting death of 6-year-old - CNN.com

SilentKnight 09-30-2016 09:40 PM

Won't be watching that.

plaster 09-30-2016 09:49 PM

Cnn sucks so bad it took me about 5 minutes to get that video to load. Yeah... the cops fired into the vehicle with nothing... sad

A large part of American people is nostalgic of the Wild West time, they want to have the right to wear a gun but they use it without discernment. The number of people killed annually by guns in this country is astonishing for a "First World Power". Policemen live in terror as everybody can have a gun and they are the first to shoot and kill when they are not sure to handle the situation. I would be afraid to live in such a "barbaric" country and, seeing the opinions expressed in the forthcoming elections, I'm afraid that the situation in this great country will deteriorate further. :Oh crap

Disgusting..I have no other words

brassmonkey 09-30-2016 11:05 PM

why the hell was he running from police? there was an episode of cops a guy ran from police. they shot out the rear windshield. they had to stopstick the vehicle he had a baby in a car seat. his cell was ringing and guess who it was?!! the babies mother! was a hispanic or white dude can't remember. looks like they are going to drop the charges. these guys better never get a fuking job higher than cleaning fuking floors. they should hand these muther fukers over to the community. let that play out!

Coup 09-30-2016 11:08 PM

I wouldn't refer to a father that runs from the police with his kid in the car as innocent.

dave90210 09-30-2016 11:21 PM

If I'm not mistaken the cops lied about the chase and the father ramming the police car? If he was involved in a chase you can clearly see his hands are way up in the air when he was shot. The video is very bad quality but you can clearly see he was cooperating with the police at the time when he was shot

I agree where are the riots, outrage, and politicians trying to the scandal of cops killing innocent people?

This shouldn't be about race.

Coup 10-01-2016 01:00 AM

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lAVd7cLXwA full video shows the father backing up towards a police cruiser

Coup 10-01-2016 01:27 AM

The full video also clearly shows that the shooting begins while the car is still in motion, unlike the cleverly edited CNN video

These cops have been relieved from duty and are sitting in jail with a huge bond and facing murder charges, while many other cops get paid desk duty, keep their jobs and have no charges filed.

Pretty easy for anyone capable of rational thought to see the difference.

The reason there is little or no outrage is because white people don't have a history of being repressed and abused in this country simply because of the color of their skin.

Many black people were still not allowed to vote in this country until 1965. There was a black man lynched by KKK members as recently as 1981 (there may be others more recently, but that is the last documented case). These wounds are still fresh in the minds of many black people so when a cop shoots and kills a black person in a situation where some people feel it was unwarranted it feels like an extension of that oppression.

Good analytical explanation - however I tend to think much of the time they're just looking for (insert any excuse) to create chaos and havoc. I doubt many of them really take the time to think things out the way you've explained above - more of a mob mentality than anything.

Sure, many of the protests end up with people in them that just want to cause trouble and/or want to loot etc. The anger, however, is real. At least that which starts the protest. Many black people in this country have been raised with the idea that white people will always look down on them and never treat them as equals and in many cases those people see that kind of stuff on a regular basis. I believe that we are seeing the unrest we are seeing now not because Obama is a race-baiter like some suggest, but because his election signaled the end of an era in this country and black people all over the nation have decided that they aren't going to take shit anymore. As you say, some bad people cause issues and ruin it, which sucks for those who are legitimately trying to affect change through conversation and peaceful protest.

I'm not apologizing for anyone. I am simply explaining why I think there is no outrage when we see a white person killed by the police vs when a black person is.

brassmonkey 10-01-2016 03:46 PM

one of the few members that sees the truth. :2 cents::2 cents:
