Trump v Clinton on taxes and the irony.

Trump legally uses the tax laws to avoid paying taxes. Not the best credentials for a President.

Clinton has helped create those tax laws most if not all her financial backers use. Will she change those laws when she's President?

Tax laws are created to help the rich make more money. The spin is the better the laws the more businesses based in the US.

How has that helped keep big businesses retain production in the West?

How has that created more jobs that pay a decent wage?

How has that helped exports from the West to the East?

It hasn't.

We need leaders who will say if you want to sell your goods here, we need you to buy more so the working-class and middle-class have enough money to spend.

Legally using the law is how laws are supposed to work.

I bet Hillary takes all the deductions she can as well. And why shouldnt she? Should Trump pay more in taxes than he has to because the IRS and the government will really appreciate it and put that money to good use?

Fucking of course not.

Everybody takes their deductions to pay the least amount of tax owed, but for some reason it makes Trump a dirtbag when he does it.

I think you misunderstand what Trump did. He lost a ton of money and in the US you can deduct a loss against gains. This is not a big deal here at all. The size was amazing but the rest is very normal.

What he does now is also very standard. He can depreciate his investments and take that deduction against his gains. Real estate is very tax efficient. Again this is super common and not a big deal here.

Add in the idea that he is getting loans from weird places. He is not. It is all registered, etc and he gets amazing rates from normal sources. The multiple LLC's is again super normal. I am not a fan of the guy but the media is realy clueless on this stuff.
