Good Luck Florida

Good luck to everyone in Florida. This hurricane looks like it's going to be horrible.

The aftermath will be nasty.

Be safe floridians.

I was headed to FL, last weekend but decided to wait until after this storm. I have lots of friends and family there on the east coast right in the cross hairs.

I've been though a number of these and I don't think it will be like Andrew or Katrina damage but it's gonna take a toll for sure.

My mother in law just moved to Florida hoping that she can ride out this storm and be safe!

Thoughts and prayers to the Floridians

Basically just raining from what I've seen. May be a dodged bullet. Question is will it do a loop back around and gain more strength or run up the coast and fizzle out?

I'm on the west coast near Tampa. I'm a native whose survived many hurricanes. I'm a little nervous on this one. I have a close friend who works for the main power company in the state and he said "Be prepared to be without power for a while." The sad thing is that I am in the process of buying hurricane impact windows for the house. Which does me no good right now.

I can't imaging the anxiety.

Starting to get a little windy, but nothing too bad over on this side of the state.

Will see if the new hurricane proof windows, patio door and entrance door were worth the investment .

Nobody there now....

Well hoping that it will remain the same until the storm passes.
Keep safe guys!

I'm currently in Tampa. Wind is picking up but no rain yet. Stay safe.

Wishing god watch over all on the east coast. The damage and deaths are already too much, sincere thoughts & prayer.

This sums up the aftermath here in Miami.

A pile of palm fronds down here in Boca Raton.

We originally were the southern most part of what was supposed to be the most damage. There were off by only a few miles. You can not take chances.

My house here in Florida is like a bunker and high enough that no flood could do anything other than a few inches of damaged drywall which I am covered for. My house is now above the Miami standards which are the most stringent building codes and I am well prepped if the SHTF.

Stay safe!
I know I would run away for a week :)
