Clips4sale bigger than Porn Valley?
 

I wrote about this today on MikeSouth.Com what do y'all think I think he may be right.

I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday He pointed out that Porn Valley is dead and that the few zombies left wandering around there just haven?t figured it out yet. I kind of scoffed but then he challenged me?He said I will bet you that clips4sale.com sells more videos per day than everyone in Porn Valley combined.

Let that settle in a moment he is very possibly right and that speaks volumes about how traditional porn producers totally killed a hot product...theres a marketing lesson here

Would be better to compare revenue, not the amount of videos due to different models (clips4sale sell small vids one by one etc).

actually I think that is kind of the point because of the distribution model in the old days and so many layers of middlemen clips4sale makes more off of a single video sale (on average) than porn producers make off of an entire DVD. I think the revenues in Porn Valley are lower than clips4sale when you look at them evenly and truth is Porn Valley revenues have been in a free fall for recent years.....I don't see DVD/BluRay as a viable model anymore

https://www.manyvids.com is another site that is selling clips that's doing very well.
C4S really should think about a re-design. I know they do very well with the old design but I have referred several HOT cam models to C4S and the first thing they say is the site looks outdated and some have not posted clips because of this.

I am aware of manyvids but they really don't have the reach that c4s does I am sure they are making money but as a store owner on both I can tell you that I make 100 bucks on c4s to every dollar on mv. MV needs to do what c4s did and spend some money on quality advertising.

agreed that c4s needs an update not to mention some policy changes but hey truth is it IS the gold standard in its genre

I put up a post the other day asking if anyone has built a script / theme that works similar to clips4sale. No replies. People have been really slow on this type of site. If someone built a good script, i imagine it would make a lot of money

There are plenty of more modernized clones. None of them have the traffic that C4S does. The newest ones are also largely geared towards camgirls and solo models as opposed to small studios.

A game changer might be if a modern clone teamed up with Epoch to accept Paypal without the girl/studio needing their own PP account to sell through.

glad you are getting paid natalie, my wires have been getting later and later and now just informed must take payoneer as the only payment form available to me. I do not know when I am getting paid until payoneer approves me. What kind of company can not send an international wire??? I have never heard of such a thing in my 25 years of doing business overseas.

that said, c4s is great for sales, but the script is cumbersome and really a piece of shit...trying to promote a single video from your store is next to impossible. I imagine if they would spend a little really updating the site instead of piecemeal modernizing an antique script sales would probably be even better.

Im still baffled that no one has made a wordpress theme or script to sell to people though. Coders missed the boat on it. I think a lot of people would buy one if it was done well and had good support. I cant find a single one for sale

woocommerce does that i think

They were spending money at shows and killing it a decade ago. C4S has dominated that long.

Someone should make a clips site like that, but then save the bought videos to the cloud.
Then use that and allow the paying members to set up their own tube with their bought videos to enjoy any time. (Easily, like 1-2 click setup)

They're also missing out on a ton of revenue by not having a dating tab on top.. :winkwink:

Payoneer is becoming the standard for sending payments now. You don't need a traditional payoneer account with a debit card, you set up your payoneer to forward payments directly to your local bank using direct deposit.

My two biggest affiliate programs only payout this way rather than wires.

sorry to hear you've had problems. You need to send another email to Gia, as I think, since this month, they've sorted their payments for wire out now.

it is, and personally I prefer it, it's cheaper & straight forward, you can see the payment immediately on your payoneer account & then just wait for it to clear the next day for me usually, only because of the US & EU time difference on banking hours :2 cents:

After not working it for years, still getting sales. Just not enough to bother with their out of date site.

Their UX and search needs work. If you got in early there you can make money, if not you are buried no matter how good or perfect your content might be for the searcher.
