Take your helmets of with smart technology
 

Not sure if I approve or not, but BMW are creating new smart ride bikes. Maybe not for many years, like 2050, however yhe company says artificial intelligence systems would make it safe enough to ride without a helmet & shall be in among a total self drive motoring system.

Whats the point of riding if you aren't driving.. They should just make some sort of body air bag that gets tethered to a kill switch.

You trip the switch and bam a air bag completely inflates around you..

I agree. Riding a bike is not meant to be automated, like driving a car, it's all part of the enjoyment. Also, I don't like the idea of all this self aware intelligence, too similar to these films, just waiting for the mass self aware to take over the planet :2 cents:

I don't get it.. is it a video game or a actual bike? The whole video you only see the bike move for 5 seconds and the rest is a VR simulation it seems like. Also how can you not still need to wear a helmet on the road? I mean can this thing suddenly tell every idiot driving a car or truck that you are there? A self driven bike would not save you from the idiots out there..

This doesn't change the fact that you can still be an easy target for stupid ones out on the road! :disgust
