As someone who grew up listening to Cohen because of my parents this makes me sad even though I know this was a long time coming. There's just something about watching your idols wither away that a) makes you realize: hey I'm fucking old and b) reminds you of your mortality. :2 cents::Oh crap

So sad....I had the luck to met him once(he has a summer house in a greek island), one of the greatest artist and a very very modest and intelligent person. May he finds peace;

When was this loreen? I've always had a dream that I'd take my dad, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen now..

It's a beautiful description he's given. There just comes a time that you realize that the energy you once got from living is over and the peace of death seems more desirable then life
