What was your latest home impoovement?

It could be as small as banging in a nail to hang a picture, or as large as a full loft conversion. Doesn't matter if you did it yourself, or paid a team of contractors to make it happen. Size and cost 100% irrelevant...

What was the last thing YOU did to make your home / living space better?

Built on 50m2 addition to the house which has guest room and my new home office.

Nice, nice :) More space is always good. I cant extend my 2 rentals cause of planning regs

My wife is an interior designer, we don't stop doing home improvements. Our house is brand new, she still finds something to change. Her current focus is on a nice office on the ground floor in our front room that was supposed to be our formal dining room.

Once she finishes there, I really have no idea what she can possibly do next, she will find something to do tho and it will cost me more money again.

We had to remove a tree this past week.... I have a tree that hangs over my neighbor's driveway and it got to the point where it was hitting his cars when he pulled in. We decided to remove it last Thursday before the big storm. We had a crappy chain saw. Getting it down was fine, getting rid of the debris was another matter. I do not have a truck any longer.....

I've been moving furniture around and working in the garden

Disassembled an exhaust-hood in the kitchen.... damn it was messy
+ screwed a cat house to make it more stable! :pimp

I just moved my home and my office. It is never-ending.

Not really a home improvement, more of a home securing.
Installed all the shutters before the Hurricane brushed the coast of Palm Beach Florida, then take them all down.

I changed a couple of light bulbs last month.

It's something daily living in a late 1800's hotel now gutted and primarily used for storage except the 3rd floor which is my loft. Currently running wiring and installing cameras. In the next few weeks some major fixes have to begin with replacing some damaged sub flooring. Also plan to start working on a game room.

For us, we have been happy staying where we are, kind of a good thing, as happy without needing to improve... at the moment. Probably paint & decorate this year coming, every home needs a bit of spice every few years :thumbsup

We are redoing our master bedroom , kind of sucks because we can't agree on much!

I made a fortress for my cat...but it only likes my gym bag...

Wow. Ok since december:
Ran cat 6a and fiber all through the house
New quad sheild coax
Lutron radio ra 2 switches and dimmers everywhere
3 control 4 touch screens
New oled tv's (5)
Closed off a sliding door and put one tv there with a vutech art screen that raises and lowers
motorized blinds that are integrated with lutron and control 4
Painted the master bathroom, bedroom and master sitting room
Painted the basement
Replaced colums on porch with composite instead of wood.
Repaired porch/replaced interior wood
Had some roof work done
Repaved driveway
Got started on the landscaping, few trees planted, few removed etc
Fixed all water damaged wood around windows
Sub zero fridge
Got an original chesterfield in transit
New coffee table and various crap.
I went nuts with the phillips hue. Probably like 25 bulbs, light strips and blooms.
About 1/8 of the way done.
