Dealing with OFAC re Chexx
 

Hey y'all

Wondering if anyone here is in the process of applying to OFAC to get their Chexx account funds unfrozen? I know the Pacnet/Chexx issue affected a lot of peeps here receiving payments, don't know who here used them for sending out payments?

Would love to talk to anyone who's dealing with this, feel free to PM me if so. I've sent in an independent application already and debating whether to hire my lawyer to see the process through. Would prefer not to spend a ton just to access my own fucking money so I haven't decided on that yet.

Anyways, from the info I've received from my lawyer and a few others I spoke to, if you used Chexx for legit payments and can prove where the money came from and where it was going to go you should be able to successfully access the funds. Can take about 6 months to a year, but definitely worth pursuing
