wondering why the BBC have said "spot a fake US election"
why not a fake election. I have never seen US media say, British this or that when it's negativity... a bit controversial! :2 cents: |

The problem is that Trump is the master of unprovable innuendo, then the crazies are more than happy to fake the evidence.
Before you know it the bizarre innuendo spouted by the Orange one is "proved" in numerous youtube videos and posted over the internet by loons like WHP Its the same process for all of the fantasy world views. 9/11, David Icke, the moon landings, Sandy Hook, false flags, crisis actors, big pharma blah blah blah. I know intelligent people who actually believe some of this shit, mainly because in their eyes there is no smoke without fire. I also know stupid people who firmly believe all of this shit because they saw it on youtube. I have met people whose world view is entirely generated from the shite that spews from the conspiracy industry. It is both sad, and very worrying because we are about to see the the most powerful position in the world filled by a man who plays the game like a boss. Unfortunately I dont have any answers or suggestions, and this problem will get worse because we all want to believe the "facts" that support our own in built prejudices. Some people have the intelligence and emotional maturity to be able to see through the fog and realise that we dont live in a world where "they" are out to get us. But Trump is the master of stirring that emotion in vast swathes of the electorate. Some folks see a bright orange snake oil peddling narcissist and are incredulous that he has got this far - others say he is speaking for them when he plucks on the emotively charged subjects of race and socio economic despondency. History tells us the Trump message is very powerful. Ally it to youtube vids that "prove" the bullshit that he spouts, social media to distribute the love, and as Churchill noted, "A lie gets half way around the world before the truth has got its trousers on". http://lic.me/i/1bzt0 http://lic.me/i/1bzt1 http://lic.me/i/1bzt2 |
and it continues.....
https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-pr...-election.html Bullshit story, from a bullshit source, distributed by the faithful, another idiot who thinks he is doing gods work. |
There's a bunch of morons here (way more than handful) who will post whatever they read from whatever source as news and fact. Granted, I won't believe anything I read on a site that doesn't have a reputation as a credible news source, but when these morons post one of these claims, I find that all it takes is a little snooping around the rest of the site to get a temperature for the level of bullshit they release as news.
But dumb dickheads see one story to satisfy their rabid need for confirmation bias and shout it to the rest of us, like we don't have a fucking brain and can't use basic reasoning to determine that their source is no better than a 12 year old making up stories. and don't even bother posting a story that's on Infowars.com. It's 100% lies. As a general business practice, Alex Jones avoids the truth at all cost. It's what his stupid followers expect and crave. I know FOX news was reporting this Hilary indictment story, but when I saw that it was also on Infowars I knew right then it was not true, despite a "major" news outlet like Fox breaking the story. The story was immediately disqualified once it's on Infowars, because as I said there is zero truth on that site. |
BBC = credible
