Election night TV ratings

With the ridiculous build up to the election, you have to wonder what kind of viewership numbers will be put up on Tuesday night.

Will the numbers come close or even surpass that of the Superbowl or World Series?

I would have to say yes since I rarely give a fuck about anything.

I plan on sitting in front of the TV all Tuesday night.... Looking forward to it really.

Both. However, I don't think viewership is properly measured worldwide, but no doubt there is BIGLY interest in the live election coverage outside the USA.

In America i'd say the figures will be a lot higher because well, many people don't give a shit about baseball, or the Superbowl for that matter.

However this election involves everyone so I'd imagine the numbers will be massive...

Precisely... It stands to reason that the lead up to this election will make for massive views of the election coverage.

I would guess here in the US the number of viewers on Election night will rival those big sporting events, but instead of being all on one network they will be scattered across many.

I think it also depends on how the early returns are. If Hillary wins Florida and Pennsylvania early in the night Trump has no real way of winning so people might tune out, but if it is a nailbiter a lot more might tune in.
