Good point, but for the moment, everyone is nervous. Alot of Canadian companies I know do alot of business in USD and everyone is shitting, even transferring funds right at this moment.

Trump plans on lowering taxes and increasing debt, which should trigger interest rates in the USA to go up. As long as you don't have a mortgage or overdraft in the USA you will be fine.

The knock on effect of that is USD will climb.

Strong USA dollard is Good for some Canadian cities more USA brothers come spend in Canada .
Remember the recession of 2010 - 2011 if im correct, i remember back then ( i was owner of an escort agency in Toronto :winkwink: ) and
most of my American custumers have completely stop to come to Canada because it was cheaper to fly to Germany compare to Fly in Montreal.

Many was saying EX: why pay $600 flight tickets to Montreal when they can go to Germany for $350 etc.. Thats was very bad for the sex industry at that time.

Yup. Just came here to write the same thing. Also, this has been the norm of every election cycle when the Whitehouse changes hands. It happened with Obama too. The real test will be long term and once Trump actually takes office.

Living in Hong Kong I now see the USD in a different way. I could see it becoming worthless.
