You are wrong here. There is no direct election system in the US. It really doesn't matter who the actual majority has really voted for. Just like it was in Bush vs Gore case. Confusing a bit, right? But that's true :)

Trump inspired more voters to his point of view and now everyone has to live with it.

I mean we all had to live with the GW Bush victories in 2000 and 2004 then had to live with its consequences just as we do now.
