It's classic. A couple of years ago we hired a new maintenance supervisor that is amazing. Everything around here is working well and looking good.

Curious - how do you feel about the election from your business owner's perspective?

Did healthcare costs / recent regulations affect your business during the last administration?

I am optimistically cautious.
Health care has been a crisis. Our group policy went up 31% this year. In many cases the cost of healthcare is more than our employees mortgage payments. A lot of people had to drop out of the 401k because of it. If Trump can stay on point and manage healthcare, it will do a lot to free up investment $$. The company pays 70% of the healthcare cost and it's a big number for our group. I'd much rather contribute that to the profit sharing plan we have.

Don't you sell stuff to china? Trump says no more free trade.

There have been a lot of changes in my business. We bought another company 18 months ago. We are importing more now to supply that business.

We are still exporting, but if it went away tomorrow it really wouldn't make much difference.

I say we round them up and make them all live in Kansas. Put up a 50 foot wall and throw them some food once in a while. Liberals are incompatible with American values. They are enemies of the state so this is not against the Constitution. Fuck they voted for a satan worshiping pedophile who wants open borders how much more subversive can a person get?

That's pretty harsh. I think I will just be happy that we might really see some change. Right or left, no one can argue that the country has a lot of issues. History has shown us that Obama has been unable to solve any of them. And if any one can change something I believe it's Trump. Love him or hate him..he gets things done.
