about the same.

Sometimes I can get away with less, but usually need about 6hrs a night :thumbsup

CurrentlySober 11-11-2016 03:48 AM

Good question but very hard for me to answer... You see, Due to my extreme drinking, I randomly pass in and out of consciousness at different times of the day. Sometimes after breakfast, sometimes after lunch, sometimes while driving the car etc... Because of this I don't really have a fixed 'nighttime' to sleep. I just think of night as the 'dark hours' when the liquor stores are closed... :(

Scott McD 11-11-2016 03:49 AM

Need about 6hrs at least usually. Or it's zombie mode for me aswell...

Sasha BongaCash 11-11-2016 04:24 AM

It's never enough! :)

Nicky 11-11-2016 04:58 AM

~8 hours is optimal

Matyko 11-11-2016 05:10 AM

If I sleep less than 6 hours I am unusable for the first half of the day..
7 hours is OK, and as a parent I can't afford to dedicate more time to this.

Denny 11-11-2016 05:22 AM

0 if it's a night booze.

Otherwise 5-7h.

Aleksandra BongaCash 11-11-2016 05:37 AM

Look Chang 11-11-2016 05:44 AM

yuu.design 11-11-2016 07:28 AM

4 to 6 is enough to me

Caitlin BongaCash 11-11-2016 08:05 AM

I sleep about 6-7 hours, but sometimes on weekends I can sleep up to 10

Jane BongaCash 11-11-2016 08:46 AM

sometimes 5-6 is ok for me :upsidedow

Adnium_Ivana 11-11-2016 08:48 AM

7-8 is my ideal. Anything less than 7: Don't expect anything productive from me :1orglaugh

Tom-LifeSelector 11-11-2016 09:03 AM

8 hours otherwise I'm useless

Evil Chris 11-11-2016 09:04 AM

I usually give myself 7 hours per night. More on the weekends.

Dolor 11-11-2016 09:31 AM

7-8 hours... When I sleep less I look like uncle fester from the Addams family

most of the time yes ...

Rochard 11-11-2016 10:19 AM

Usually five or six hours. I tend to stay up until nearly midnight and then get up at 5:30 am. This is every morning; I am not a sleep in type of person.

mineistaken 11-11-2016 10:32 AM

8-9. If I sleep 4, next night I can sleep 12 easily.

However I can sleep 0 and not be a zombie next day, be pretty much ok, feeling a bit tired, but still at 90% of energy.
But in that case, next night will be 12 hours sleep for sure.

Hannes 11-11-2016 10:33 AM

i find it doesn't really matter how much i sleep, Im always tired :1orglaugh

PR_Glen 11-11-2016 11:23 AM

you basically need less sleep as you get older. teenagers need as much as 10 plus hours where someone in their 40's can get away with 6 easily. But if you sleep a lot and are still always tired? you probably have a sleep disorder and should probably get checked for it, those things can kill you.

I used to need at least 8 even in my late 20's and still would be a zombie. I have horrible sleep apnea though so using a cpap fixes everything. This can happen to anyone btw, not just overweight people. My dad has a horrible case of it and he has been a relatively lean 150 for the last 50 years.

Spunky 11-11-2016 11:25 AM

Im lucky if I get 5

bronco67 11-11-2016 12:07 PM

There's the amount you think you need, then the amount you really need. Every other dickhead thinks he's special and only needs 4 hours. You weren't given some special biological gift which allows you to stay up longer than everyone else while not killing yourself slowly.

CaptainHowdy 11-11-2016 01:45 PM

7 hours of sleep (circadian style) ...

Screwed Up 11-11-2016 03:05 PM

On the keto diet:5-6h and I wake up super focused and alert. Weird.

Without keto: 7-8h on the regular. 9h is the Valhalla.

j3rkules 11-11-2016 04:29 PM

Usually about 8-9 hours.

HomerSimpson 11-12-2016 07:17 AM

I recommend 8-10 hours of sleep if you want to do anything mentally or physically challenging during the day.

RachelBlackG 11-12-2016 10:01 AM

depends...sometimes 4 is enough...but usually I need 8-10

Feng-PD 11-30-2016 12:03 PM

8-10 hours needed!

Bladewire 11-30-2016 12:05 PM

4 usually. Once a month or so I'll get 6.

If true, talk to a doctor. Something in your life is out of whack and there may be a very easy fix. Look at your diet first.

I'm good with 6. More or less than that and I'm not operating properly.

6-7. If I sleep more than that it I seem to be tired for the entire day.

Checked random sleep apps on andorid, according to reviews - absolutely unreliable. And how could it be? I mean they are talking about counting deep sleep, medium sleep, light sleep cycles etc. It is not possible for the phone to do that reliably.
Mostly for fun.

brassmonkey 11-30-2016 12:45 PM

4 to 6 here

Barry-xlovecam 11-30-2016 01:00 PM

2 to 5 hours continuous/ 7 hrs in a 24 hr period.

HomerSimpson 11-30-2016 01:06 PM

8-10 - if I need to be able to work entire day
6-8 - if no work is involved

davidCRM 12-01-2016 01:06 AM

Caldo 12-01-2016 02:22 AM
