What's the chances the electoral college picking Hillary?

The screaming cry babies on the left are demanding the electoral college vote for Hillary on Dec 19th. They signed some petition. What's the chances of this actually becoming a reality?

Let them do it. Get the civil war under way sooner rather than later so that the rebuilding can begin.

These people don't understand the process. The electors are chosen by the parties. So all of the states Trump won those electors are Republican. Hillary's Democrat. Generally deep rooted in each party at that. The chances of one of them switching sides is 0 more than 1 less than 0. They would have better luck betting on Santa Claus visiting them at Christmas.

None.

Now search this term 'faithless electors 2016' <= this is a long shot and very unlikely.

I'm with Bernie on getting rid of superdelegates & electoral college but this election is final now and the deed is done.

Our system does need to be reformed though, as Trump & Bernie have both said.

Reformed to what Thomas? A system where grown men grope other men?

You are on a level of hypocrisy that far extends the normal gfy poster. Is that why you post all the time... to seek dominance in a world you have failed at?

Just wondering... fyi... electoral votes came to pass to make sure that centralized cities could not dictate the outcome of an election starting back to the 1800's. It was directly placed in law so people in the cities could not dictate the vote.

Make sense buttercup? Nobody wants 1.5 million city votes to determine the outcome... well I guess you do but don't you think you should be catering to your non suspecting friend?

Well Mark, like I said this election is done and Trump won there's no trying to undo that.

Our system needs to be reformed to majority rules. Very easy, the most votes wins. Now pound that pussy baby make me feel every inch :thumbsup

Electoral vote is put in place so the 2.5 million tgmcpq people can't swing an election. Understand or need more explanation?

Yes 538 people vote on December 19th who will be president. I've posted that a few times in different threads over the last few days and reiterated the fact that we're a Republic, not a true Democracy. You're just making me be repetitive and lumping me in with left liberals when you know I'm extremely fiscally conservative and a mildly socially liberal voter that's voted Republican in the past :thumbsup

I have read of 3 that are on record promising not to vote for Trump. I have also read of 5 or six that are "considering" who to vote for.

woj 11-12-2016 05:26 PM

it would make zero sense not to vote Trump in... they may not like him, but at least then they will have their guy in VP spot... :2 cents:
