What Republicans & Democrats never say publicly is we need immigrants to take care of aging baby boomers just like the Chinese, Europeans & Japanese do.

After boomers are dead growth in the economy is eminent, right now lazy old boomers are sucking us dry.

In every developed countries, poorly educated immigrants, legal or not, pick up the garbage and do the dirty and bad paid jobs that citizens would never do :Oh crap

Most people I know want something along these lines:

If someone is here illegally, but hasn't committed any other crimes, and they have some kind of job or skill so they can support themselves and not just live off the system, let them stay, get them legal and give them a path to becoming a citizen sometime down the road.

If they have committed other crimes or they clearly are just here to leech off the system, then they have to go.

If there really was a problem with the demographics there's many options to encourage families to have more kids.

I'm curious but what does the somali community look like in the US ? Any problems with them? Do they enjoy working, integrate well, love being american?

I'm 100% in favor of deporting criminal illegals.

I'm 100% for preventing illegal immigration over the border.

But if some do make it inside and melt into the economy, I don't think it's worth the effort to kick them out.
