Hit Best Buy and get a new one. Happy Black Friday!

Do this:

1. Reset to factory defaults. Your router may have a tiny button on the back of it to do this. Normally you have to press and hold it for 10 seconds or so but check the online manual to be sure.

2. Do a firmware upgrade. Even new routers you just purchased can have out of date firmware.

That should fix your problem. Good luck!

this happened after i already did that. the router works fine most of the time but sometimes will hang or won't load certain sites and this in the logs seems to correspond with it. i tried searching but can't seem to find what it means. i will probably get a new router anyways, as its an N router that is a number of years old but just wantd to make sure the router was the actual problem and not something else.

That's a very specific error message and one of the red flags your router is likely under FBI surveillance https://www.cnet.com/news/fbi-quietl...eillance-unit/
