Buying raw milk

I'm guessing that since Chio(sp?) the pirate left this place it's stopped being an industry forum. LOL

Now I'm wondering if anyone knows a way I can go about buying raw milk in Quebec? The health benefits are incredible with raw milk and I can use all the help I can get!

Bladewire 11-22-2016 04:01 PM

Why buy it?

Sorry I'm asking about another kind of cow's milk.

Barry-xlovecam 11-22-2016 05:03 PM

Have you ever milked a cow in your life?

I worked in a dairy operation, long ago, and saw the shit skimmed off of the raw milk in the vats twice a day -- seriously. We washed the cow's utters and teats before we hooked them up and miked them of course but fucking stupid milk cows will chew their cud laying in their own shit sometimes.

Always homogenize cows milk.

Breast milk is another story -- hopefully a cleaner one :1orglaugh

Raw milk is illegal you need to cross the border to Vermont, you can get it Saturdays at the Craftsbury VT Farmers Market.

A farmer will lose his license if he sells, or gives away, raw milk, in Quebec.

BlackCrayon 11-22-2016 05:19 PM

you might be able to find some people selling it on kijiji or something.

didn't chio scam a bunch of people?

This province is a disaster of rules and it gets worse every year.
I was hoping to not have to make the drive to Vermont.

When I was a kid and visited grandparents in the village, I loved drinking still warm fresh milk straight from the bucket. Tasted great, not even sure what happened in your examples.

We were milking 80-100 cows twice a day in a production milking parlor. 2 stages with 8 cows each at once. Westphalia milking machine -- small commercial dairy farm.

Like this but only 8 bays per side.

Each run out -- hose the cow shit off the stage and get the next run loaded in.

We had 200 Holsteins total usually. Cows only milk after they give birth. After 5 -7 calves the cows get loaded onto the butcher's truck. You know how big the weekly shit pile is from 80 - 100 milking cows?

Thats old school - welcome to the 21st century and milking robots.
Each robot can milk 60 cows multiple times per day with no human intervention

Become friends with a farmer.

PR_Glen 11-23-2016 07:21 AM

drinking fortified milk is arguably not good for you with all that sugar in it, drinking raw milk is the same thing with more plus an added chance at getting severely ill...

drink whey isolate instead, at least all that bullshit is removed from it.

There you go -- that was 35 years ago and a robot is doing the shitty (literally) job today.

You have any idea what washing hundreds of cow nipples (teats) with warm water twice a day with bare hands does to you?

Still Pasteurization (misspoke; homogenization above) is absolutely needed of raw milk there are bacteria in milk. Milk utters will get infected and you need to inject penicillin. You need to mark that teat so you do not milk it. Many people are allergic to penicillin and can die from an allergic reaction to it. Shit happens -- start re-milking that teat too early ... we used to milk the "cottage cheese" out of the infected teat by hand on the gallery stage and re-treat that teat with more penicillin until the bad teat milked clean by hand for some days. NICE JOB LOL

We made hot cocoa with milk out of the vat but brought the milk to a near boil to pasteurize it ...

People have been drinking raw milk for thousands of years and it hasn't destroyed our species. As for the risk associated with it just allow me to point out that I produce porn and have the habit of sticking my bareback'd cock into the body orifices of women that I've never met before.

In life everything has some sort of risk associated with it. This doesn't mean you should go full retard with fear.

Yes I do. Spent my younger years (now 40+ yrs) on a small dairy farm most times under 50 cows and we did not have the fancy equipment. Then later went to work for a guy who had the milking parlor and probably a 100+ head. My job among others was to corral the cows into the shute. Hated every second of it.

But as a young kid raw milk right from the cow was the best. When I was really young I would hand my cup to an older sibling while milking the cow. Never got sick from it.
