Annoying problem with my new touchscreen Dell XPS
Last week I bought a 15" touchscreen Dell XPS. Beautiful computer, great specs, nice price.
Really annoying problem: whenever I drag windows around on my screen, via the mouse, they always want to autosize or auto snap. I googled the snap feature and disabled snap assist, but it continues to want to autosize and auto snap my windows. I have a friend with a very similar model and he does not have this problem, I thought it may have been an issue with touchscreen capabilities. As far as I'm concerned, I can completely disable the touchscreen, so if that is possible and will solve the issue, I am all ears. Any advice? (PS I really wanted a MacBook Pro but the new model was severely lackluster. This XPS is a beast.) |
Wouldn't that be an operating system issue? Mine does this do - I have an Alienware laptop - but I like it really.

Possibly, but I have three other computers with Windows 10 and I do not have this issue. I figured it was due to the touchscreen. There has to be a setting somewhere.
This is running Windows 10 Home. |
My Alienware has a touch screen but honestly... I don't use it.

Mine does it from time to time. Not sure what causes it. It is annoying so I usually restart and it doesn't do it again for a few days or so it seems. I've never sought out a fix I just kinda lived with it. Not sure why I bought a touch screen now either I guess just for the hell of it because I never use it.
