I guess all election results should be recounted automatically

Jigster715 11-23-2016 08:47 PM

I can just imagine the idiotic posts and news articles if Trump was gaining votes.

A few days ago in another thread you said you understood how the electoral college works yet you keep harping on this popular vote, it's irrelevant at this point.

Not only did hillary say she would accept the results of the election she criticized Trump for not agreeing to do the same.

Shiit. The closer Jill gets to the recount the closer Clinton and her cronies are getting to their plane. Clinton has over 100 million in cash left. She could have done it herself. Unless there was a reason to not..

would be pretty damn hilarious, if turns out that actually Hillary's votes were the ones that were over counted by a large margin, and bunch of people end up going to jail over it... :1orglaugh

YES, of course:2 cents::thumbsup

Rochard 11-23-2016 09:44 PM

This is over.

While I find it very strange that Trump won after everyone poll in the world gave Clinton a huge lead, I do not believe a recount would change anything. At the same time we cannot be second guessing the results of an election just because we do not like the end result. The only reason we should be having a recount is if there is a big enough reason to believe there was big mistake or some type of fraud - and that is not the case here.

That's fine. The next four years will be fun to watch.

And after the four years are over, let's compare metrics. Let's see how unemployment does after Trump. The last Republican president started with a great economy and a 4.9% unemployment rate, and eight years later the unemployment had doubled. Under Obama the unemployment was cut in half. I am a firm believe in the employment rate being an important indicator of the economy, so you had better believe I'll be here complaining if unemployment goes up.

Huh? Hillary Clinton has almost 2 million more votes than Trump and the electoral college doesn't vote until December 19th, the election is still in flux until electoral college votes

Yeah who knows. It's an interesting twist and we both know Trump would still be bitching and suing if he lost, like he sued Nevada during the election. Trumplestilskins are getting off easy with a measly recount :1orglaugh

Any Trump supporter bitching about a recount is a hypocrite:2 cents:

You keep saying don't give a damn that Clinton got 2 million + more votes...usually people don;t keep talking about things they don;t give a damn about.

you find it strange, cause you are living in some bubble... the reason Trump won is pretty simple, things are not as rosy for most people as you think, many people are struggling, he acknowledged that, offered some plausible solutions, and that's why he won... :2 cents:

That's true. But if there is a recount in those 3 states and it turns to Hillary's favour, then this also changes the electoral vote.

No. But to be fair, I'm not demanding it now. I don't think the recount will change anything. The computer guy (I forgot his name) who first brought up the issue also isn't expecting the result to change anything. Trump's your guy for the next year or so, that's a fact. But any weirdness in the voting process demands scrutiny. It is after all, the basis of democracy.

you can pretty much guarantee nothing will change, business as usual no matter who it really is.

Lichen 11-24-2016 07:50 AM

At this point, if they took the steal I'm pretty sure the cops and Feds and 100 million armed Americans would finally do something. Trump is prez. Deal with it.

It will just backfire and reveal how many illegals voted.

BTW, who's actually doiing the counting?

regardless of whatever foolish things you want to say no matter who is in power, half the country won't be happy. that says a lot when no single candidate can bring a country together and instead, tears it apart.

It means Trump doesn't have a voter mandate to pass an agenda. You're welcome for teaching you that :thumbsup

I.E. he can't say "the voters have decided..." or "America has spoken..." because majority chose the other candidate ;)

no you dumb rube...trump won by millions of votes. all these magic votes coming out weeks later is just liberals fudging the tolls in california with fake votes, illegal alien votes, dead people votes. at least 3 million hilary votes have already been verified as frauds.

you just wont hear about it on CNN. but dont worry. by january 20, at this rate hilary will be winning by 5 million fake votes. :1orglaugh

liberals in california work with the liberal media to sell a fraud that trump is not legitimate, & the dumb lemmings (you) come here & post mental turds, that are fake, saying trump is not legit, didnt win the people, when he did.

your a fucking dumbass. :1orglaugh
