Question for GFY HTML5/CSS3 Javascript Gurus
Hey bitches,
Is it possible to display content from 1 page on to another page, using a DIV to "float" that content? For example, let's say page1.html is your main page, but you want load some of page2.html. Normally you would use an iframe, but in this case, you want to float it on top of page1.html like a window. tks! |
Pretty sure you can do that with Fancybox:
$.fancybox({'href':'http://www.google.com', 'type':'iframe' }); Fancybox - Fancy jQuery lightbox alternative |

There are other options too, here's a good breakdown: https://www.sitepoint.com/jquery-lig...ybox-thickbox/ |
depends what are you trying to display... There are some other ajax options too that are probably a better idea than iframe...

Do you have a visual example of exactly what you're looking to do? There might be another solution besides using FancyBox
