UK to clamp down on Porn Industry

I came across several online articles today expressing the UK govt move to drastically reduce access to pornography in the UK.
Well,i think just like another item that has be declared illegal, this move would not achieve it intended aim because it's damn hard to put a leash on sexuality. It would always ooze out in a different garb. Any one with a better idea of it's implication on the global adult industry?

DVT, it's simple, The UK government is always trying to reduce the porn allowed.

Some of the acts will not pass because of human rights & sexual equality :2 cents:

Yeah I do hope it doesn't pass. There is the risk of setting a bad precedent once passed, which could fracture the industry. Or am I just being paranoid?

In my situation, passage of that BILL is akin to worsening a bad situation. Running an online adult business is hard enough in my part of the world.

I am old enough to remember UK banning the "video nasties" in the 80ties, and when I did ask a Gov. official during a public forum why Passolini's "Salo" was available from Briitish Film Institute, but banned in all UK video stores, I was told that BFI members are educated enough to recognize the artistic value of the film, but regular public does not..... Read: the elite is able to handle it, the plebeians are not !!! Nothing has changed in 30 years...:2 cents:

Really pathetic.

Well, fuck the UK.

They can never clam it down no matter what. As long the demand is there, and governments can earn on it, it's there for stay.
