Homemade Brew still time
 

who's making holiday beer and wine? i did 10 gallons of irish red already bottled. a few gallons of skeeter pee since i have a big ass lemon tree. need tips and stuff hit me up. it's cold here so i put my buckets on seedling mats.

I used to do this with a friend of mine years ago. When it was a fad. Some of the batches of beer we made were pretty good, especially the wheat beers. As for the wines, the whites always came out better for us.

i did a hard apple cider this year 5 gallons. i use a raisin mix with dates(boil and let juice kool) to make the yeast work live crazy!

I bet that came out nice! What was the eventual alcohol content?

will be 6 to 8% abv

I used an ale yeast and made 10 gallons of apple pie with a 6.5% ABV. And have a 5gal Festivus Miracle Holiday Ale Kit brewing. I think I like brewing more than drinking as my basement is full of bottles of beer and hard cider

Ive just done a couple of small ciders with juice and not the cans to see how they are going to go.

make sure it's 100% juice :) comes out great

I just brewed up some home made holiday methamphetamines. Hopefully Santa's electric machine elves will chase away the bugs that are crawling out of my skin.
