A Senator Just Filed A Bill To Force Trump To Dump His Foreign Businesses Before Taking Office

Poor donald trump. Trying to be Potus won't be easy for him.

Surely Crockett is going to rush in here asking "why do democrafs hate democracy" ... after all he claims all the time that he's just against hypocrisy

On one hand I want to say this is silly.

On the other hand, Trump has a lot of business interests around the globe and Americans have the right to know what is going on. Turning his business interests over "to his kids" that he talks to every day is not putting them into a blind trust. He should not be allowed to be President until this is fixed.

This should have been planned out long before the election. It's painfully obvious this wasn't given any thought at all.

Wait a minute...I could swear that CNN and MSNBC and you right here on GFY spent the last year claiming that Trump was only worth a tiny fraction of what he claimed. That his businesses were bankrupt. That he was only worth a few million dollars. That he doesn't own anything, but just licenses his name out.

He isn't under any legal obligation to give up anything.

Just like the wealthiest man in America was George Washington at the time of his inauguration didn't give up anything.
Just like the Roosevelts didn't give up anything.
Just like the Kennedys didn't give up anything.
Just like the Bush family didn't give up anything.

Nobody was screaming for FDR or JFK to destroy their businesses.

And nobody seems to be screaming at HOW IN THE HELL the Clintons were supposedly "dead broke" (to quote Hillary) and now are worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Democrat Party needs to be spending it's time figuring out why they have lost almost every state in the Union's local govt. and lost the Senate and the House...and now the Presidency.

All this other stuff is a waste of their time. The Dems need to look to the future. They already took a bad misstep by clinging to the past when they just re-elected Pelosi as their House leader. Bad move.

Republicans will have zero interest in all of this, unless Trump was a democrat.

They chased Hilary Clinton around for years over phantom conflicts of interest, and Trump has ACTUAL conflicts. But this will get smacked down in both houses.
