Trump didn't "lambast" the CIA. I watched the interview. He was asked by Chris Wallace about it and simply said the truth...that they can't be certain who did the hacking. Good hackers don't leave fingerprints.

And then they characterize McConnell's comments as an "implicit rebuke" LOL

Everyone should make sure to actually WATCH and listen to both Trump's words on Sunday and McConnell's today.

If Mitch McConnell is getting behind this and breaking from Trump it means he has top secret intelligence that implicates Trump.

Mitch McConnell is in heavy with FBI Intel so the FBI has new info, or Mitch McConnell just learned of the info, and is breaking from Trump to avoid collateral damage.

CIA = getting raw intel data

FBI = combining raw intel data sources to create intelligence.

What's likely to happen is drawn out investigation, enough time to use their majority to pass right wing legislation, then after 1-2 years the congressional investigation concludes and hammer comes down on Trump.

To make it simple for you; walking in to rob a bank you know you'll be recorded. You disguise youself but they'll still know you have 2 arms 2 legs and came in from the side exit instead of the front. They'll know which teller you went to and how much she had in her drawer. They'll know when you leave, and sometimes where you went to and where you came from. I could go into more detail but you get the point.

Servers have root logs that are not publicly known.
Actually, secure servers are behind a DMZ and are firewalled.
It's very possible that these political party servers were not secured properly.
