gotta wonder how many fake votes were cast in other cities & blue states where the popular vote was inflated. like california, where they let illegals register to vote. 11 states do that, register illegals to vote. blue states, of course.

This is the same issue which was registered in other areas where machines jammed and caused more votes to be tallied. This was the excuse used in PA or what ever the other state was, where the votes were in favor of Trump...

I read about this yesterday. I can understand a few inconsistencies but something isn't right about this.

Why can't we come up with something that cannot be tampered with?

well first off elections are run by locals. & in a sense that helps reduce fraud in a national race.

second there are interests that want vote process to be fudged. it helps politicians when their workers can engage in registration campaigns & then throw out their opponents registration cards.

i told you many times. read clinton cash. but you dont want to know.

We know this to be fact because democrats have been arguing this for years and say this again and again and again every time its mentioned that people should have legit, government IDs to vote.

Well,... they argue that and that its just too hard for a Mexican or Black guy to get an ID (which is somehow noble and not racist... i've never understood how it was both).... and then, bonus, they then call you racist for the very suggestion of IDs.

But generally,... yeah... voter fraud doesn't happen because thats what Democrats have been saying for years.

I live in Michigan and the past few years they have always asked for photo ID -- a driver's license -- that doesn't prove citizenship -- I have a US Passport ID card -- do you?

I think this is state-wide ... not just this county ...

I would have no problem with using a secure digital method of voting -- if that can be done -- I would prefer it for convenience and as being more cost-effective. If the blockchain can be used in a "secret" ballot -- theoretically it could. The problem is securing the blockchain token itself -- there would have to be some validity key that is not stored digitally that is also anonymous.

The blockchain has never been hacked but the storage security has.

This actually looks reasonably well thought out, rather than a "because...BLOCKCHAIN!" argument. Effectively they're giving each citizen coins to spend on their votes, and those transactions are incorporated into the blockchain.

I can see one fundamental problem, and it's a biggie: voting will no longer be anonymous, since every citizen will be assigned a unique private key. The government will also have a copy of this private key, so they (and anyone else with access to the stash of assigned keys) can see exactly who any given citizen voted for.
