We have a president elect who is unfit to occupy the office of the presidency, or pick competent cabinet members. The electoral college was made for a situation like this but they're going to act like a bunch of automatons.

Im not sure why everyone keeps talking about the date in December for this - the results of that vote wont be known until early January unless someone steals the sealed vote envelopes from congress and the National archives - I believe that Congress will open and count the votes on Jan 6th?

If it were reversed and Trump won the popular vote by 3 million & Clinton was anointed, I'd say do away with the electoral college. It shows that 538 people can override the majority and it doesn't look good, and it isn't good. Fuck the system.
