He summons the Russian ambassador Andre Karlov to Turkey a couple days ago to Discuss hostile acts by Russia's battleship off their cost. The ambassador is shot today while giving a speech. Turkey's ambassador was due to leave for Russia today. WTF

The truth is we've been living in a fairly peaceful time thanks to nuclear weapons. Prior to nuclear weapons it used to be very common for countries to be in out out wars very often. Here's the actual shooting.

The gunman reportedly said in Turkish "We die in Aleppo, you die here" before opening fire and killing Ambassador Andrei Karlov.

The attacker was fatally shot by police after wounding Mr Karlov and at least three others, according to state TV.

Mr Karlov was delivering a speech at an art gallery in the capital of Ankara when the gunman fired a shot into the air and then shot the ambassador in a suspected radical Islamic attack, the Hurriyet newspaper reported.

The gunman allegedly entered the gallery with police identification, and Mr Karlov reportedly did not have a security detail with him.

Three others were reportedly wounded as the shooting continued and people fled for their lives.

The attack and the aftermath were captured on camera.

According to the article he was saying it was pay back for Russians bombing Aleppo.
