Getting traffic
I run a pretty successful adult wrestling website. While its adult its not super pornographic though there is some there. Thus far we've gotten by with advertising on youtube, facebook, and a few gay sub/dom sites. I think the biggest thing to do now for the company is expand the audience since we have so much content.
Whats the best way to go about this, beyond the baseline steps I've taken so far? |
google adwords?

I would lose the flash videos on your landing page first.
Traffic is hard to get organically and even harder to convert. You want to get rid of the stumbling blocks first :2 cents: |
Set up an affiliate program maybe, so that other people send you traffic

Although I shouldn't do this...I recommend you look into snapchat and instagram advertising - they are the next round of cheap ads now that facebook is getting overrun

mdwofficial, You must understand to have traffic you need cars and streets. Then you need stop signs and lights to direct this traffic. Start there. :thumbsup

While I'm pretty competent and running my biz and have done well considering, I'm still a total noob with getting traffic so appreciate any advice |
You have to try everything unfortunately. There isn't a definitive answer on the topic

Try Tumblr and Twitter. I have been using them for some time for adult traffic and conversions are decent. You can automate posting with a bot or a tool such as IFTTT.COM. For Tumblr I would suggest to open multiple accounts using proxies because they are know to randomly ban NSFW accounts randomly. If you want accounts to last longer try to make them as legit as possible and don't include a link to your site in every post so it doesn't look spammy. You can automate posting using a bot especially if you have a ton of pictures. The more you post the more followers you get. To start getting followers you need to follow other people that are interested in your niche and some will follow back. As your following grows so does re-blogs and likes and or course traffic. Same goes for Twitter but on Twitter its a little harder now that they have some algorithm that blocks your account a lot especially if you use some form of automatic posting or you follow many users and unfollow daily. This has been my experience. Hope this helps a little.
