How do you prepare your laptop for Christmas.
Christmas is a time when friends and familys come together to celebrate the birth of our saviour Jesus christ.
Unfortunately it's also a time of the year when nosy friends and family members want to use your laptop "to Google something" or "check my email" or "let little Timmy watch a movie". Now if your laptop is anything like mine it will be filled with images most people would be shocked to see. You might have images saved to the desktop, folders filled with porn and let's not get into your browsing history. This post isn't for those with the luxury of a 2nd laptop this is for those with just one that they intend to take with them or use when family are around. |
I'm sure there are nifty partition software out there you can use
|
create a new user that wont have access to anything under your user account.
When people want to use your laptop load up edge instead of the browser you usually use. |
Be a man and don't hide your porn like a scared child...unless you are a pussy that is.
|
Isn't this the intended use of the 'Guest' account, or do the newer win machines not offer that anymore?
|
It is put away and not available for guests to use.
|
My step dad was complaining when I donated an old lap to him that 'cocks popped up all over the place' - That does not happen - You need to click on something...
Tell the family to stop looking at your gay porn!.... |

Exactly. My Wife doesn't even touch my computers. No way "Cousin Timmy" or anybody else will have access. I don't give a shit what they see on it, I care about them fucking up my machine. |
No one ever touches my laptops. Ever.
|
I leave my mac at the office :)

Do all my mainstream/adult work on a desktop. Last year stayed up till midnight and ordered my first laptop ever was like a $600ish Dell laptop for $299.00 on Black Friday. Bought a nice Dell carrying case and mouse to match along with an aluminum mouse pad, laptop cooler and sandisk 128 GB usb drive. Think I've turned it on 3-4 times in the last year basically to just update windows or BitDefender security so still like brand new with nothing stored in it. If I had da smut in it I'd just create a vault from my security software and toss everything in there or create another user. Smart purchase on my end. :1orglaugh

One thing you can do is get an old Ipad and leave it out on the table for people to use. Probably the cheapest solution, and if the Ipad is out there readily available no one is going to ask about your laptop. The way I do it is to have two separate platforms. All the adult business is done on Linux or Windows, and all Mainstream and anything to do with my Family life is all on Apple. |
Tell them fucking NO. Problem solved. Bring your own shit if you want to use a laptop when you come over for the holidays.

It is strange to me how people lend their computers to other people as if they would be lending a book or something. If I gave it to cousin Timmy I would be slightly stressed out during all those minutes or hours he would be on it. Different people :) |

the documents are simple to move down a layer & put them all into "work" document.
However, it's forgetting to clear the cache when you go to type into google "batman" for "little Timmy" & "Aunt May"s sitting by you, when "buttfucked.com" shows up on the google drop down list! Your red face warms up & the glow's reflecting off your screen :) |
Put it aside......
Else, boot up a live linux distro so people can watch youtube or browse online without being able to see / touch your working environment Puppy Linux Home |
There should be absolutely no reason why someone wants to use your personal laptop these days. Everyone has a smart phone, if they want to google something then open their fucking browser.
I do not ever worry about my laptop and anyone seeing what I do or have on it, it is locked with my password that no one else on earth knows. Even if someone did pick it up, it is useless, they cannot do much more than look at my lock screen. Same goes for my home PC, someone could go into my home office but they cannot access my PC. I also have a guest wifi setup so anyone can log onto it. Password changes every so often, no one gets my regular home wifi password. |
