Dammit! I fell asleep in the cinema again last night
Looks like i'll need to go see Star Wars:Rougue 1 again in the next few days :helpme
From the little i did see looked pretty decent. So i don't mind going back. I do think i missed a large chunk of it though so, waste of time and money last night. I knew watching the trailers my eyes were feeling heavy. I think i fell asleep about 10mins after the actual movie started. I fall asleep anywhere these days... |
I did that in the 3rd Matrix film.
Only good part of Rogue One is the final 20 minutes. |
I never fall asleep at movies, but, I need to watch a TV show or movie to fall asleep at night. Even stranger, it must be something I've seen before and that I like. Watching something boring just keeps me awake. I'm a strange one, really... I ... i...

Did you wake up with your pants around your ankles and a sore potato patch?

Happened to me once when a buddy of mine wanted to see Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) in the middle of the day and not really my thing but he didn't wanna go solo so I went and slept through 90% of it and then bitched at him for letting me sleep as basically a paid nap. Star Wars think I would stay awake as have the box set of the previous ones.

can't imagine falling asleep anywhere public, unless have not slept for 36+ hours or so, but these happens once in a few years when traveling :) And even then can not imagine falling asleep not in a proper place (hotel room in this case).
I have a buddy who falls asleep at bars if he drinks too much. I can drink unlimited (which is of course limited by what the stomach says) and can not imagine falling asleep in a bar, lol. Must be different bodily functions for different people. |
I never fall asleep at movies myself.
Rogue One started off slow but once it got rolling it was great. A little bit too much on the back story there. You would think.... They would run a movie like this in September - they know it's going to sell out no matter when it runs - so then by Christmas they could sell the movie on DVD.... |
Maybe this slut could keep you awake...

We saw it last night. slight rewrite of all the other Star Wars Movies.
Too noisy to fall asleep, but not so great. The only surprise was at the end. |
Did that many times. On Captain America I fell asleep when they were fighting and I woke up they were still fighting :1orglaugh

Top Grossing Movies versus Good Movies.
If you ever needed proof we're dumbing down compare the lists.
Top Grossing Movies. 1 Finding Dory 6/17/2016 2 Captain America: Civil War 3 The Secret Life of Pets 4 The Jungle Book 5 Deadpool 6 Zootopia 7 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 8 Suicide Squad 9 Doctor Strange 10 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 11 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 12 Star Wars Ep. VII: The Force Awakens 13 The Revenant 14 Moana 15 Jason Bourne 16 Star Trek Beyond 17 X-Men: Apocalypse 18 Trolls 19 Kung Fu Panda 3 20 Ghostbusters Golden Globes Best Motion Picture - Drama Hell Or High Water Lion Manchester By The Sea Moonlight Hacksaw Ridge Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy 20th Century Women Deadpool Florence Foster Jenkins La La Land Sing Street Oscar Predicted Nominess Arrival (Paramount) Fences (Paramount) Hell or High Water (CBS Films) La La Land (Lionsgate) Loving (Focus Features) Manchester by the Sea (Amazon, Roadside Attractions) Moonlight (A24) Contenders: 20th Century Women (A24) Hacksaw Ridge (Lionsgate) Hidden Figures (Fox) Jackie (Fox Searchlight) The Jungle Book (Disney) Lion (Weinstein Co.) Long Shots: A Monster Calls (Focus Features) Silence (Paramount) Sully (Warner Bros.) What was your film of the year? For me, so far there hasn't been one worth remembering. A few nice ones but mostly rehashes of a previous story. The Jungle Book probably stands out for the Speacial Effects and story. A rehash of a previous story. :1orglaugh |
