Raising Money for a WWII Fighter
Hey folks,
Since I left the industry I haven't been much on GFY. I see the same usual suspects and some new guys. Good. When I left the business, I decided to follow my passion and went back into aviation. I am know involved with flying and restoring WWII aircraft! We lose our WWII Veterans every day, and the mission of my organization is to honor their sacrifices for our freedom by keeping their aircraft flying for future generations to experience. The FG-1D Corsair is one of the original aircraft of the Commemorative Air Force. This iconic World War II fighter is one of less than 20 left flying in the world. Nothing says Warbird quite like our Corsair #530. However, unfortunately, we are having to replace the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engine on the Corsair and the costs of the replacement is over $100,000. http://www.warbirdsnews.com/wp-conte..._12-Planes.jpg http://www.warbirdsnews.com/wp-conte...removal_4.jpeg Please help me raise money for our Mighty Corsair! One of the most iconic airplanes of WWII. Please consider donation at www.cafcorsair.org http://www.warbirdsnews.com/wp-conte...4243893_o.jpeg Please help me raise money for our Mighty Corsair! At least it is not raising funds for cancer or family emergency...
