What makes you think the plane exploded? Seems to me like the plane crashed one minute into flight, which makes perfect sense - taking off and landings are the most dangerous times of any flight.

Unless their is an international investigation, not likely as it was a military plane, the truth will never be proven. Three men in a speedboat equipped with an old FIM-92 Stinger (or other sourced MANPADS) could have taken down that airplane. If fact, from that BBC account, if true, it sounds like a missile may have hit aft of the wings. That would explain the sudden crash without warning ...

Now I read they are investigating bad fuel as a possible cause. We are to believe only one fuel truck was compromised and only one plane affected? Highly doubtful ...

I think a lot of times people speak out of ignorance relying on stereotypes for their basis of opinion. If myself, or every Gay guy I met, was the Gay stereotype, I wouldn't like Gays either. Same with blacks, mexicans, asians, rednecks etc. The vast majority of people are not the stereotype, but people with limited experience don't know this, or someone unfortunate enough to have been stuck with a stereotype in real life under some work, customer, family circumstance.

I never understood the "hating people you've never met" thing. I take people one on one and make my judgments. The only people I hate are the strangers that steal from me. Not everywhere has cell towers near by. Also it was a very old Russian aircraft so wasn't likely equipped with modern wifi if it was used to transport Military.

I hope you know I am being 100% serious. It is a very grave tragedy. These were lifelong musicians, not politicians, and they did their work to make others happy. I am very sad to see a professional choir perish like this, and I am sure they suffered and were very afraid before they died.

I know a number of, or more accurately, several, Russians who live in Russia. They all speak to me in English. No one with a real brain imagines that an entire country is "evil".

This guy, while he is no Pavarotti, does a very nice high B at the end. He is a choir singer that gets paid 1/1000 of what Pavarotti did, and gets no special treatment. But when he needs to, he sings this very difficult song because he wants to make the audience happy.

If the world were filled with people like this, instead of backstabbing, scheming, ass-licking, money-grubbing politicians and stupids (to paraphrase Robert Baratheon) it would be a nicer place.
